History

The Ladies in Sports (LIS) is a non profit organisation founded in 2016 to promote women in sports and improve the standard of living of women in sports in Nigeria.

Our annual conference has grown to include more than 200 participants, with delegates and speakers from Kenya, Ethiopia, Ghana, South Africa and Zambia, and has gained international recognition; forming partnerships with La Liga in Spain and Women in Football in the United Kingdom.

Ladies in Sport International helps to address the issues affecting women in the sports industry.
